Shipping and returns
Everything is on this page. If a condition is not written here, it does not apply to your order.
Shipping
We dispatch from the United States. Orders are packed against the roast schedule rather than the clock, which is the one place we ask for a little patience.
Below that, a flat $5.95 anywhere in the fifty states. The threshold is not a trick to push you into a second bag. It is roughly what a padded shipment of this weight costs us to send.
If your order lands the day before a roast we hold it a day or two rather than ship you older coffee. We would rather you wait than open a stale bag.
By USPS Ground Advantage once dispatched. A tracking number is emailed the moment the label is created.
We import in small air-freight consignments, and onward international shipping would currently cost more than the coffee. When that changes it will be announced here first.
If tracking stalls for more than seven days, or the bag arrives split, email us with your order number and a replacement goes out. We do not ask you to open a claim with the carrier. That is our job.
Email us and we will change the address, the size or the coffee. Once a tracking number exists we cannot recall the parcel.
We are not willing to promise a monthly shipment of a coffee that comes off one farm once a year and sells out. Join the harvest list and we will email you when a new lot lands.
Returns
Coffee is a consumable, so a returns policy written the way an electronics returns policy is written would be useless to you. This is the version that is actually worth something.
Email us within 30 days of your first order and we refund it in full, however much of the bag is left. Keep the coffee. There is nothing useful we could do with a returned bag, and return postage would cost us more than the refund.
Two sentences on what you tasted and how you brewed it. At our size that is worth more to us than the order was. It is a request, not a condition. The refund does not depend on it.
If a bag arrives damaged, stale, or plainly not what the label describes, write to us and we will make it right. We are not able to offer open-ended refunds on a coffee this expensive to import.
Email first so we can check the coffee is still in condition to resell. If it is not, we refund you and tell you to keep it.
Processed within two business days of us replying. Your bank usually takes another three to five to show it.
These terms are the same ones stated on our homepage. If you ever find the two disagreeing, the more generous one applies.
The formal versions of our policies are on the refund policy, terms of service and privacy policy pages. Anything else can go to support@lunargeisha.com.
